CoMag is an advocacy initiative established in 2017 by a group of Edmontonian. We aim to explore the options of aging gracefully, connect resources, people & families.
Our Vision
CoMag promotes enhanced quality of life for aging Muslims.
Our Mission
Comag seeks long-term solutions through education, research, and collective action, to address Muslim seniors' needs in the community.
Our Goals
- Be a central voice for Muslim Seniors and their families
- Promote Aging in place
- Promote healthy and active aging amongst Muslim Seniors and Seniors at large
- Promote opportunities for full inclusion and participation in community life
- Promote multi-generational & culturally sensitive spaces (work, recreational, living)
- Support Research on Muslims Seniors Issues
- Pursue collaboration and partnership opportunities.
- Positively influence the development of legislation and policy for Muslim seniors and Seniors at large.
